As some of you may know, I have been trying to update the main UkF1.net website (which is currently offline and redirecting here) but its just taking forever to do. Well I can't be bothered anymore, I've deleted the site from my PC and it won't be coming back. The End.

The site was originally started years ago (maybe 3?) now and the way it was designed was rather crude and to be honest pretty crap. It takes me too long to edit/update and do anything with. Since the site got pretty big pretty quickly (over 1500 videoclip thumbnails) it would take FOREVER to put back online in any form. I may suddenly find inspiration one day but I'm not going to be capturing anymore so theres not a lot of point really. I might instead make somesort of site for amateur motorsport footage, I have quite a bit of webspace that I could use to host etc... so lets see how it goes...

Oh I will try to spend more time answering requests and reposting clips on here. I still have a BIG selection of clips that I have never posted or can repost so keep asking, one day I will answer :P

FYI this does not effect this forum - this remains as is. I still appreciate all the great vids that are posted here, seems I've become more of a leecher than contributor these days but I do appreciate your efforts - I try to say "thanks" :)

Great effort UkF1. It would be nice if you still could post ONLY Qualyfying laps from iTV or the highlights of every F1 race weekend.

Took me 6 days to actually notice this thread, so sorry for the late-ness...
Sorry to see it go, but I cant imagine how hard it would be to keep something as large as UkF1.net going. Thanks for what you've done, sure got me interested in capping and watching more F1. And starting this forum, great place we all have got going here.

Well, I just wanna say THANKS for providing this great clips for some years now!...

However, you are also responsible for making me more lazy at work by "making" me spend more time watching crashing vids :-D

As I haven't been here in a while, I was curious to see why my link kept redirecting to the forum. Sad to see it go, but all good things must go. Thanks for all the great clips you've offered over the years.

I guess now you can sit back, relax and do nothing and in a few years time start a new web site :P

i'm gutted about this i used to come on this site when it first started can't remember my old username and i ended up forgetting my password, dunno how but anyway great shame it's come to this, but anyway thanks for your great contribution over the last three or so years

It's important it stays fun for you too UKF1. I've seen forums die because the owner started to see it as a duty and lost fun. Anyway it's a shame it's gone. But like @ndy says, cheers for your input man!

Been quite inactive for a few weeks (offseason ;) ) so I noticed it last week and saw this thread only now.
